His daughter was born on July 13, 1980, and his grandsons in 2013 and 2014, of whom were the most important parts of his life. Bob was a family man, and defined himself very much through his relationships with those closest to him. He was an engaged grandfather, fostering a close bond with his grandsons in only the first six years of their lives. He spent much of his free time dining, laughing, and spending quality time with his extended family. He was extremely close to his sister and brother. He was a good friend to his son-in-law, Richard, and brother-in-law, John. Bob was an athlete when young, and loved playing the guitar, playing pool, bowling, fishing, and going to the movies. He excelled at guitar, performing for friends and family. He was also a business professional, working in finance management for decades and garnering a stellar reputation. He was a good friend to many colleagues, sharing laughter throughout the long workday. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.
A visitation service will be scheduled for Monday, November 4th, 2019, from 10:00am-12:00pm, at Foster Funeral, and his body will be laid to rest thereafter at Junction Middleton Cemetery, in a tree-framed space only three blocks from the retirement center where he spent his final years.
