Magnolia “Maggie” Hobson was born on July 23, 1920 in Pontotoc, Mississippi. She was one of two daughters born to Callie Sue Hobson. Maggie entered the presence of the Lord peaceably on Sunday September 22, 2019.

Maggie spent her early years residing in a special home in Sparta, WI, with her mother faithfully by her side. She later resided with her sister Daisy Smithson, who lovingly cared for Maggie for many years.
Maggie loved her family dearly, and enjoyed family gatherings, particularly when all the children were present: frequently stating “I Love You.” Maggie also enjoyed accompanying her sister to church and various community events.
Maggie was admitted to Premier Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing facility on August 20, 2015, where she remained until the time of her passing.
Maggie is survived by her sister, Daisy Smithson, her niece, Joyce Jordon, great nieces and nephew, Jocelyn Hill, St. Charles, Missouri, Jennifer (HB) Butler, Dallas, Texas, Jeffrey Crowley, Beloit, WI, great, great nieces and nephews, Jenna Crowley, St. Charles, Missouri, Jarrod Copper, Jordon Copper, Beloit, WI, Jarmir Crowley, Rockford, IL, Jarmon (Ann) Crowley, Janesville, WI, Jessica Squires, Janesville, WI, Jeniah Polk, Dallas, Texas, Asha Butler, Desoto, Texas and a number of great, great, great nieces and nephews.
Maggie was preceded in death by her mother.
Her sweet smile and frequent expression of “I Love You” will truly be missed.
