Macklin Clark Martin III, 70 of Middleton, WI fell asleep in death on June 18, 2019 at the V.A. Hospital in Madison, WI. He was born February 21, 1949 in Chicago, IL to Macklin C Martin Jr. and Joy Lamar Shepherd-Martin.

Mr. Martin was educated in the Chicago school system and served on the Chicago Police Department for several decades.
After retiring and moving to Wisconsin, he lived a simple and quiet life among many people who loved him dearly. He enjoyed the company of others, talking about his God Jehovah, and the promises he learned from a thorough study of the Bible.
Macklin was a baptized and active member of the Pleasant View Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Middleton, WI.
Macklin leaves to cherish fond memories one sister JoAnn Martin, a niece Joy Monique who Macklin affectionately called “Clemons”, a cousin Greg Powell all of Chicago, and a host of family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and one son, Macklin C. Martin IV.
