POEM:
EMPTY POOLS OF TEARS WONDERING WHY LIFE HAS SO MANY SHIFTING GEARS, COULD YOU IMAGINE FACING YOUR BIGGEST FEAR, DOWN ON YOUR KNEES FOCUSING DESPERATELY TRYING TO KEEP YOUR VISION CLEAR, BUT AT TIMES IT SEEMS THE BATTLE IS TOO HARD, AND THE DEVILS OBSTACLES WONT DISAPPEAR, SO I PRAY UNTO THE LORD HELP ME OVERCOME AND PERSEVERE. BUT THIS BITTER FEELING OF DEFEAT MAKES ME START QUESTIONING GOD’S PLAN BUT I KNOW THAT’S NOT IN GOOD FAITH AND WHEN I PRAY I LET THE LORD KNOW THAT THESE ARE THE STRUGGLES THAT I FACE EVERY DAY, YET IN FACT ON THIS DAY I AM FORCED TO PUT MY BIGGEST FEARS AWAY, I CAN CRY, I CAN POUT, I CAN MOAN BUT STILL HAVE TO FACE THE FACT I CANT CALL YOU PHONE, NOW IM STUCK A MOTHERLESS CHILD TELL ME WHO CAN I CALL ON. I LOVE YOU MOM – YOUR DAUGHTER
