Reflection of Life
James Curtis (Quince) Hutchinson Jr, 26, known to family and friends as “Lil Curt” of Beloit, Wisconsin entered this world at Beloit Memorial Hospital on February 27, 1992, and transitioned into the next world on July 1, 2018.
He was the only son to Anita Roseanna Quince-Perteete and James Curtis Hutchinson Sr. In 1992; he was christened by the late Pastor Charles F. Hereford at Community Baptist Church. He was a member of the South Beloit Boys and Girls Club and attended South Beloit Public Schools where he met his middle-school sweetheart and fiancée Kassandra “Kassy” Martinez. Influenced by his favorite uncle, James Quince, “Lil Curt” developed a love for cars, bikes, and anything with wheels at an early age. He was a hardworking and loving father and son. He was employed as a Machine Operator at McCurdy Tool & Machine Co. /Top Die Casting in South Beloit, Illinois and in his spare time sold retail fashion apparel. On his days off, he enjoyed nothing more than outdoors grilling and spending quality time with family, especially his mom. He was an avid lover of old and new music.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Willie Etta (Bledsoe) and Joe Quince Sr. One Aunt Ruthie Hutchinson. Two Uncles, Timothy and James Quince and one nephew Austin (JR) Ramos Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his fiancée Kassandra “Kassy” Martinez. Four very young children; Imani, Naomi, Qur’an and Adriana Hutchinson. Mother, Anita Roseanna Quince-Perteete of South Beloit, IL. Father, James Curtis Hutchinson Sr. of Nashville, TN. Paternal grandparents, Mary (Hutchinson) and Roosevelt Sanders of Milwaukee, WI. Father and mother-in-law, Juan and Lesvia Martinez of Beloit, WI. Five sisters: Shanta L. Hereford of Stone Mountain, GA; Michelle J. Perteete and Charetta S. Upshaw of Rockford, Illinois; Jamia (Sergio) Kelly of Houston, TX; Jazmine (Deajan) Hardnett of Beloit, WI and a sister-in-law, Jasmine Martinez of Beloit, WI. In addition, to a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
